Posted on August 13, 2017October 9, 2018 by sakshi

“Please mind the gap between the train and the station. This is Hounslow Central. The next station is Hounslow East. This is the Piccadilly line service to Cockfosters.”

No promises

Posted on August 11, 2017October 9, 2018 by sakshi

I am not going to make promises and say I will love you forever. Because here’s the truth: forever doesn’t exist. For some, forever’s extend until death pulls them apart. For some others, forever’s last a few months. For the rest not even a night. ‘Forever’ is just the result of one’s perspective, holding…

The Gentle Rage

Posted on March 8, 2017September 15, 2017 by sakshi

Treat a woman with equality. Give them rights equivalent to men. Stop making discriminatory statements against them. They are no less than men. There is a woman behind every successful man. Women can reach the moon and the stars. There is nothing a woman can’t do, that a man can. How many times have you…

INVISIBLE WINGS

Posted on February 27, 2017October 9, 2018 by sakshi

Why are women bound to be within safe boundaries? Why do women need to be told what to do, when to do, how to do? Why is it that the world looks at you by surprise if you are a female traveler? They say travel broadens the mind and the heart and gives wings to…

One evening in white

Posted on January 12, 2017October 9, 2018 by sakshi

Last night when i was getting back home from Mumbai, I fell asleep in the car. I saw a dream. In the dream i was solo travelling in a cold cold place. I knew not one face. I knew not a single direction. But it still felt like home. I know for sure, i saw…

The Road Less Traveled

Posted on September 22, 2016February 7, 2018 by sakshi

When you talk about travel plans, people expect you to speak of the mainstream hill stations or luxury travel destinations. But there is a very thin line between a tourist and a traveller. And I consider myself to fall in the latter. Travel is pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and keeping an open…

What is Travel?

Posted on September 12, 2016July 26, 2017 by sakshi

I have always had a passion for travel and every time I mention this to people around me, I am asked one question. What is Travel? Well I don’t answer for all travel lovers, but to me travel means to forget the everyday routine and indulge in something out of the regular frame of life….

*SUPER LATE BIRTHDAY POST* Who said you couldn't c *SUPER LATE BIRTHDAY POST*
Who said you couldn't celebrate the number 29? 😉
.
I have been quiet for some time now, and this is probably the first time I didn't spam all of you with my birthday posts😂
But this year was really special. It all started on a light note, my mom-in-law made my favorite dishes, i was well pampered and then prash decided to give me a boom of a surprise 😍
.
So the entire family goes out for dinner, and upon reaching the destination I enter the lounge and to my surprise all my cousins and there already. And slowly a couple of friends join in. I wouldn't have imagined it this way and my man always always knows how to surpirse me. It just shows how much effort he's put this last decade in knowing me inside out😍
.
Now, I don't have pictures from my party, coz ofc I was too busy having fun 🥳 but I wanna give my handsome man a Super big shout for being the BEST husband a girl could ever ask for!
@prashanth31110 babe, you amaze me in ways I fall short of words to express❤️
.
A super special thanks to all the guests to make it to my evening. I couldn't have asked for more❤️
A coupme of you'll were missed that evening! But hey, who said it's the last party right? 😜
.
This just goes to say, your loved ones will always do what's best for you and will always always make an effort. Put in the faith, and you'd be just as surprised ❤️

We take stock of the monumental moments — that We take stock of the monumental moments — that promotion at work, spending another holiday with our loved ones — but what about the tiny treasures?
.
A tummy filling breakfast, that homemade cake you've been holding yourself from eating, the playful sounds your nephew makes, reading something that lifts your mood instantly, that dress that fits you again, rewatching your wedding video, waking up to the love of your life, the smell of freshly popped popcorn, a sudden cool breeze on a dreadfully hot day.
.
These are things that keep me going. And so much more. Afterall, it's all in the little moments that we find real joy.
.
I can happily and proudly say - I am indeed, living my BEST life ❤️

Grateful to this man, who never leaves an opportunity to surprise me, love me, and hold me like he'll never let me go ❤️
.
I have been MIA for the past month. Just doing some social media detox. And now starting to catch up, what better day than my birthday🎉
.
Today's plan is to allow it to settle in, that I'm 1 year away from a whole new decade😂

To all the movers, the makers, the hustlers, the shakers.
To those who shout loud, who stand strong and when needed those who quietly move on.
To those who build empires, move mountains, push boundaries, raise babies, make memories and refuse to take no for an answer.
You are the ladies paving way for a new generation who are ready to play.
Stand tall and stand proud for all that you are,
And not what anyone else says you could be.
But the you, that is here, standing now and amazing.

Keep looking To the window To the part Of the room Keep looking
To the window
To the part
Of the room
Where the light
Pours in.
For that is where
you'll be reminded
Again and again
No matter
What happens
The shadows
Cannot hold you.

I appear again, like these rare orange ombre cloud I appear again,
like these rare orange
ombre clouds
Oh, the beginnings
Of a new summer
Story vowed.

March is here
And so is
Summer
The leaves and
Winds and the sun
Become her

With all but a
hopeful heart
Tugged onto me
And if I vanish
Into thin air
You'll come to see,

That, I'll appear
again, with the
changing season
Another story
to say, and
Another reason
